Paintings, sound, costume and performance developed as a part of a residency at KIAC in Dawson City, Yukon.
In the summer of 2017 I traveled by foot, bus, train and ferry from Portland Oregon to Dawson, Yukon. ALIDADE is an attempt to transpose this experience through video and large-scale charcoal drawings done directly on the gallery walls.
A text-based map was given to visitors as a guide through the panoramic drawings that wrapped around space.
